At 99 carbine speed you can basically shoot something with 12 weapon speed and still shoot almost any special every second...

154 multiplied by 1.16 is not 214, it's 178.

And 3.7 multiplied by .68 isn't 3.2, it's 2.5.

No wonder he wants someone else to do the calculations...

And .32 x 2 isn't .68 it's .64 and the speed isn't 2.5, it's 2.7. Don't be a sarcastic jackass. Even if you're right doesn't give you the right to be one.

Who multiplied .32 by 2? And why?

The speed is -32%. So you multiply the difference. 100-31=68.

3.7multiplied by .68=2.5, just like I said.

I wasn't being a jackass, but I was being sarcastic, and I have every right to be.

Those are the figures I am getting with the powerups. I might have the numbers on the powerups backwards but that is what I am seeing every time I put one of those puppies on.

The same can be done with DXR6's and Lasers, but the base speed starts at around 4.4, which worries me as being too slow. Anyone have a link to the speed formula? I'm currently at +99 Carbine Speed.

Since crippleshot's speed modifier is 2.0, your 4.4 weapon will fire at .88. Anything under 5.0, you're gold.

Oh, didn't notice. They changed cripple speed modifier again. First we thought it was 4.0, then 2.0, now 2.5. So yea, that 4.4 weap should put you at 1.1.

Now wait a minute, if you have +99 Carbine Speed your weapon speed needs to be under 40 to hit the cap!!!!

(100-character modifier)/100*weapon speed*special speed = Actual Firing Speed, 1.0 cap

So take AFS(1.0)*100/special speed(2.5)/(100-character modifier(99))= 40 weapon speed to hit cap
