Yeah, I kinda missed the boat on the Imperial add-ons being a Rebel, but I still think my Elitecould hit the 1 second capon the mid-range specials with a 30% power up once I hit Master (300k more xp to go ). Its a 1.4 speed with the right coupler.

I believe I said NEARLY worthless Personally even before Damage Mitigation I bought tissues 99.9% of the time for speed, not damage. The Carbineer is gimped by speed and HAM, not damage potential.

Any enhancement that improves a weapon is a good thing, but sometimes the reality of the situation is not nearly as good as hoped. I just hope Publish 7 does not fall into this disappointing category....

I'd say use an Elite Carbine.Thats just my own personal preference.

Also, Krayt tissue are not worthless but they are not useful for what you think they are: damage. They are useful for the speed reduction they offer. Personally, I'd trade that rather exception tissue you have for many tissues that offer a good speed reduction.

Im a Bounty Hunter and Carbineer Speed is not the Issue plus i have +25 Speed Attachment +140 speed

+85 Carbine Speed for BH starting Carbineer and +25 Attachments = 140 ?

BTW, +96 Speed will hit cap on a 10.0 Weapon So going higher is quite a waste....

Yeah, 10.0 on a basic attack, now lets see the breakdown on Specials like BurstShot, CripplingShot and FullAutoSingle2. I'll bet solid money CripplingShot doesn't quite cap out yet.

OK, how much money you betting? Obviously you are not aware of me around here....

Now if we can just transfer Credits from Kettemoor to Chilastra I would be rich

But lets be a bit more realistic and say slowest Carbineis 5.0

You would cap at 1.0 on EVERY special at +92 Carbine Speed.

Lets use one I've seen, the slowest Carbine I know is the Laser, which as a stock model is typically a 4.0 on Kettemoor. From your numbers, this would cap on a basic attack at +/-40 Carbine Speed (If this is linear, based on your numbers, every ten or sopoints of speed skill is a one second shave off the timer). What are the timer increases on high level specials? They must push that way back up for the heavy shots.

/applogize for flame in advance, this is a very talked about subject. PS ask a Doc for a Fire Blanket

Dude, you have no idea what you are talking about, my goodness.....it is not linear. Standard Attack for a 4.0 weapon caps at +75. And who figures the Speed Cap on the Standard Attack? For those approaching the cap, they sure are not using basic weapons with basic moves.

Everything you need to know is in the STICKY posts and my spreadsheet:

http://tafirehawk.com/GoA/Carbineer%20Actual%20Firing%20Speed%20Table%20V2.xls

The Speed Formula is [(100-Player Modifier)/100] * weapon speed * special delay.
