Either way you put it anything that ignores a resistance or is suspected to ignore a resistance can be considered to give an edge so it may cause people to flock to it (poision DOT's anyone).

Scattershot 2 with a stocked/dmg sliced laser carbine and +100 carbine speed (which is possible with a BH/Carbineer setup) would be nuts.

Aww crud I'm hijacking a thread again. . .

/leaves the same way he came in.

You all suck, I hate this forum! There's nothing here but unintelligible useless numbers and a bunch of emotionless old people with no passion or heart!! You should all get a clue and wake up to the real world. The Fencer forum isn't crap, it's fer real, and if you lUsers can't handle it then you should stay in your beds all day long and hide under the covers!

</sarcasm>

Hehe. Between here and the Ranger forums it's the best community, just wish some of the improvements and fixes that were implemented here could happen there too.

Okay, since someone mentioned a Laser carbine I have a question.

Mine is pretty nice, not krayted or anything, although that'll change soon, but what I was wondering is, Do any of you ever use the laser in PvP? I mean against ranged Mit it gets eaten alive, or at least it appears to me to be that way. I see all kinds of people with uber awesome, whatever laser carbines but I don't understand why.

Thanks

This is a thread for celebrating our fellow carbineers, not a Q&A. You will find the answer to your question in the stickies.

I've been Master Carbineer/Master Fencer for months now, and I must say its fun as heck. Sure, I don't PvP a ton and I mostly hang out and fight some PvE creatures a bit, I feel that I have a BALANCED gameplay experience when I play and battle.

I have the flexibility in combat to fight up close and lay some states fairly quickly, and swapping back and forth between carbineer and fencer during a fight, and I feel that this is a good factor.

Add in the fact that I can mini-buff with Powerboost/Brandy and I can jump into the many mid-level caves out there and clear the place. (Mid-level caves are Eran Siff Bunker, Drall Cave, Auakuan Cave, Borgle Bat Cave, and others)

Sure they don't offer much in content or loot, but clearing a cave or small base solo just adds that special something to gameplay.

It just feels right.
