No you don't understand how to SHOW sarcasm......use a SMILEY (or /sarcasm)or it isn't sarcasm, period. We can't read 'body language' here in case you didn't notice.....

I'm MBH, was Master Marksman, and am now almost at master carb but for some reason can choose adanced tank but not ranged...
Think its cause I was pikeman before respec but seems ridiculous! What difference do the advanced icon make in battle? Is it better to select Advanced tank or normal ranged when fighting with my spec?

It's only meant to signal your group what's your primary duty in the group. Healer, damage dealer, tank, utility etc.
No bonuses or anything given. So choose which ever you want.

Not until we are actually crowd controllers......
I consider a large number of Imperials either incapping or running from me to be an adequate form of crowd control. 
Would still like some area mobility specials, but hey, I can live with DPS for now.
