Im just writing to see if anything can be done about our kd animation?

Not only do we look like crazed chickens while executing the move, it also causes us to run into a much closer range of the target therefor opening us up to his friends agro that may be stood around him.

This is especially noticeable in the DWB where you can drag a single mob out of a room usually into the door way but when you hit our kd move, you leg it towards them ragging the rest of his mates out of the room to pretty much instantly incap and db you.

You do the one armed salute in whichever direction you are running/facing, so just before the move executes start running backwards/whichever way, et voila.

I can assure you that the charge animation is not leaving or changing in any way for Carbineer.....it is now an iconic SWG move

Bah :/ But the animation could remain the same but not make u run towards them before doin the chicken dance.

I dont mind lookin like a ti t doing it, its the charging towards them first that does my nut in when it ends in me getting incapped by 3 sbds :/

Never mind though, it is called charge shot so i suppose its only right that we charge at them

If thats true about it breaking root (i will test it) you just made me the happiest bh in the world since only jedi with root really scare me

First of all, it doesn't break root. He said you can move while rooted, meaning that you do the charge shot animation movement while rooted. You're still rooted after the animation completes, you just get to move that couple meters first. Second, like gane said above, you don't have to necessarily move *forward* with the animation. If you turn around and take a step in the opposite direction, then fire charge shot, you will charge in the direction you were moving. So it's possible to charge *away* from your target.

I love the animation myself. Ever thought why it's called Charge Shot? It'sreally nice in battles. Thinkabout a group leader literally charging towards the enemy.

*starts dreaming*

It's always fun to Charge Shot a Rebel guard just as they do the same thing and both get knocked down.
