Since Eisman will leave the game soon too
, i think TAFirehawk should become our new correspondent. There are many other people here who post very well in this forum, but i couldn't imagine someone other than TA for the correspondent job.

As a general comment, a Correspondent MUST be an active Carbineer Forum person (if not now then at least in the future).....how else can a person be a community leader keeping in touch with your fellow Carbineers AND in close contact with SOE?
Or maybe I just have a different perspective from working so closely with Novamarine here for months.....
But Carbineer is about Quality not Quantity so the next corr doesn't need as many posts as me
Corr or not, I enjoy being here and that won't change any time soon.....
And I would like to thank everybody for their support.....lets hope Tiggs listens to you

Ok i'm kinda new and i'm not even a master carbineer yet. But I think i will put my bid in. see cuz i'm loking at carbineer from a prospective of someone whose working his way through all the relevent problems now. Such as the problem as why are slugthrowers so non effective aginst armored chars, why is the accuracy of the laser carbine so low when on the move and other issues as such. Also i'm getting to know a lot of people on my serever an want to know why with all the sa the carbine has why is it the most dreaded gn to leevl in the marksman profession. O well whoever gets it i hope they will have as much passion as i have for the carbine good luck to all.

Trust me guys...before Ryutek we had a correspondent who had a total of like 98 posts and only 20 of those in the TK forum become our Correspondent...turned out to be the biggest dud on the boards.
He was pushing for stuff like new animation for Unarmedspinattack2 because the current one didnt look right, and Dojos for TK to be able to place in cities...Choose wisely who you support in this gig...
the TK troll...unofficially

Just a note for those who don't have sigs turned on, I am also Rorenikibi. My work schedule is such that I really don't have the time in the evenings to do the job right and still have a reasonable amount of time to play the game.
Thanks for the suggestion, but I've gotta pass on it.

Agreed, the last thing the carbineer community needs is a correspondant that isnt willing to "chat" with there people. We have enough of those in the other professions. I am of the belief that with TA we would have a correspondant that would openly communicate with us (even on the silly stuff). I hate going to other boards and seeing there community calling for a comment from anyone and not getting a reply even if its I dont know, I cant say, or a we'll wait and see.
Ugh, I sound like a fanboi... Anyway, if the new correspondant isnt TA, and ends up being someone that doesnt communicate with this community that will be unfortunate.

As I said in Nova's farewell thread, I'm far more of a lurker/reader than I am a poster, that applies pretty much to all forums but particularly this one since I tend to learn more by keeping my mouth (or fingers as it were) shut and soaking in knowledge I don't have. *g*
But assuming the opinions expressed here will factor into the decision making process, as a more 'silent observer' I definitely have to throw my support behind Firehawk....and that's no slight on many other regular/highly visible posters in this forum who would do a great job as well, but you have to pick somebody, and he just seems the natural fit/choice to me, particularly from the technical/mechanical/testing and data presentation side of things. And in particular my reasoning for supporting FIrehawk is that having met and spoken with a couple of the devs at Fan Fest, I think based on the quality of his own personal testing work he would be the best choice to best be able to understand their side of things and communicate our side of things to them and basically be the best mediator between both sides to have the most efficient results.

Mv Vote goes for TAFirehawk as well, definitely the best bet in my opinion to fill Nova's shoes.
