I kind of miss my old Chitin Helmet. That was haute coture.

I do think there should be an armour for basic profs though. Like Bone armor or chitin. That is an oversight.

In case anyone was still confused about this, armour (whatever the type) comes in three levels of quality. The higer the level of protection, the higher the hindrance penalties from wearing it. Conveniently, your armour wearing "ability" improves as you level. The first tier of mods you get for wearing armour mitigate compeltely the penalties associated with the low level of armour quality. The second tier mitigate compeltely the penalties from wearing medium quality armour. The third tier (at master, I believe) mitigate compeltely the penalties associated with wearing high quality armour.

Silly if you ask me - you should always suffer SOME degree of hindrance from wearing armour - you're simplky not as flexible and fast and mobile in armour as out - but that's they way its built. So a Master Carbs will always be able to wear the highest quality Battle Armour (again, regardless of type - bone, RIS, faction, etc) without any hindrance penalties.

Kundo: That's assuming that player-made armor will never go over the 40% certification of the master carbineer. Do we have any numbers on that?
