I agree, nova you should get on this asap and don't let them feed you that, "it'll be fixed in the combat revamp," line. If they can take the time to destroy our only claim to usefulness they can throw us a bone by fixing chargeshot 2.

My initial reaction is a pause.
I need to get in game and see any changes with my eyes. Nothing personal but sometimes incorrect info pops up on these boards and when I bring issues up they need to be 100% accurate.
If the issue stands where it appears to stand, I will be #1 upset and then #2 after I calm down I will engage the Developers to find out what happens.

I started a post to list the number of people saying they are dropping the profession because of this "fix with no fix". Please point the DEVS attention to it.

I'd just like to throw in my own 2cr again (haven't posted much before today) that I hope we are not going to start nerf-crying ourselves in these threads. Carbineer is currently my only combat prof, but I do not wish that CM or TKA gets nerfed. It makes sense to me that they should be powerful. I feel cheated that we are not more powerful than we are, and that is the root of my upset. If all of our specials worked as they should, especially in the special abilities branch, we'd be very capable of making a strong contribution to any pve or pvp fight.

When I read the combat note changes I looked for the bit that read "We've fixed some additional carbineer specials, the correct states are now applied".
I could live with CS being, well redundant as it now is, if the array of states we should be able to apply were there. We can stun, and blind. In multiple shots. They need to hotfix the dizzy pronto. Adding an intimidation state in there somewhere for solo fighting might be nice.
The whole bleed situation is somewhat amusing. Using it to kite+solo krayts is one thing .. perhaps the solution would have been to give creatures a "bleed resistance" rating so that your average bleed works fine on your average critter, but doesnt do squat to large monsters.
I know people are leaving carbineer .. i was having trouble getting skill tapes. Suddenly the competition just withdrew their bids.

I like your idea there satanis, now the remaining few of use can actually get tapes, that's a cool point
