I just enjoy the feeling of shooting someone in pvp with off the shelf armor on..The Glowing Energy Bolts hit with such rapid speed and percision only to see that all my damage was soaked up.. Not only with the average 66%-75%-80% resistance to heat/acid/energy (That is all the types we can field) but then The MIdigation reduced what little damage we did to nil on top of that BUffs Regenerate the Damage we did get thru in seconds... So What we have here is A Clear sign that Carbineer Mastered or not even with BH Carbines III blasting at blinding speed with crippling shot is Useless in PVP... Why? Because If we had a Stun type weapon we could at least do equal damage... It would help... At least we would be shooting at average 38-40% stun resist thats a hell of a lot better then shooting at 75%... ARMOR AS WHOLE HAS TO BE REVAMPED ... PLAIN SIMPLE..

No wonder All those Stormtroopers never hit Luke Leia Han and Chewbacca... WHY

BECAUSE THEY WHERE CARBINEERS (E11 CArbine)LOL...

personally, i wouldn't mind a new carbine, but i DONT WANT STUN!

cold damage would be preferable. or electric. or whatever. as long as its not stun.

Well.... this is a good idea. But like any good Idea it will take a long time for it to become a reality. This should be a great tree to work on. A carbine is essential in a battle field but yet carbines and carbineers are not given much attention. yes the fixed a few things but do they work like intended.... sometimes. I am a Master carbineer and love it but we are not balanced with any other professions. we are neglected and when a fix comes our way then things are not fair. Other players complain and if we do PVP the cost for specials is so high you limit the use of them to save your mind. Anyway... yes we should have a new carbine... a really good carbine with good speed and damage. it should have a new look, and odd sound when it fires and an electric shock when it hits target. I like Mercenary Carbine...

ok ok ok!!! i see thast u guys dont want a astun carbine, that is understood, BUT PLEASE DONT OVERSEE THE MAIN POINT OF THIS THREAD!!!!!!!

THE MAIN POINT OF THIS THREAD IS TO GET A NEW CARBINE. It doesne matter if its Cold, Restraitn, Electricity, Kinetic or Bantha Podoo Damg. It can be wahtever as long as its a new kind of dmg. THE REAL ISSUE HERE IS TO GET A NEW CARBINE.

And yes, if we get new carbines then Pikeman and most specially FENCERS shoudl get a new weapon too. But this thread is on the CARBINEER forum. If FENCERS want their new wepon, they can do the same im trying to do in this thrad, Hell i even think that they deserve it much more than us cuz we at leat got an E11 Enhanced schamtic. But it all goes than to leaving FENCERS oir other profession making THEIR OWN requests and us CARBINEERS to make a request for our own. Not a selfish request, its jsut that fencer shoudl make their request andwe carbinners should make our own, is that plain and simple. And yes, i do beleieve that armor and its vulenrability to stun must be revamped.

SO PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE MAIN FOCUS OF THIS THREAD: A NEW CARBINE. If u want a new carbine, u can also post here voting for which type of dmg and its name. Waht i posted first was just a SUGGESTION.

Personally,I think that if there was an armor cap at 75% instead of 90% or something, stun damage wouldn't be nearly as popular... its the high end armor that ruins everything

I really want some new carbines floating around out there. I don't care what they are, as long asthey're acquired asschematics (not like Nym's), andthey don't do energy or aciddamage.

I would rather that armor and buffs got themselves a tweaking and that stun wasn't the only viable option for PvP.

But on the other hand... I want a new carbine! No matter if it's stun or not. Just any old carbine that has a professional carbineer feel about it would do. (Elite Carbines damage range but with AP1?)
