I was under the impression that pistoleers would quite easily hit the speedcap even with the new gun. But I might have miscalculated that one.


I agree with you that it is better to look to the future, and try to anticipate a few of the combat changes. The suggestions you made in your thread all seem sound to me, give or take some tweaking of the numbers.

I do wish this game was more focused on Ranged professions though. How many fencers, swordsman, and pikeman did you see in Star Wars?

Let me educate you.



First off, the type of Krayt you kill has no bearing on the quality of tissue it drops.


Second, Krayt Tissue does *indeed* have a minimum damage. Also, it's an *enhancement* and enhances the Advanced Blaster Power Handler that it goes into. Acklay bones, conversely, are used directly in construction of the weapon.


Third, Acklay bones with a higher Minimum Damge than Maximum damage are a known bug. If you have some, contact your local CSR who will gleefully flip the stats around so it works correctly.


Fourth, please PLEASE get yourself informed before posting trash. I recommend the Weaponsmith forum, as there is a LOT of good solid information there.

Um.... Hundreds.


Whenever combatants moved into melee range of each other, they tended to (but not always) switch to a melee weapon.
