I think that would be pretty neat for the dart carbines that you could load certain dart ammo in it that deals specific damage types. The carbine would orignally be mediocre, and wouldnt work unless a certain dart module was loaded in (similar to a power-up). Some examples would you could load Electro-Darts, and the damage would be electricity, and depending on the quality of the Electro-Dart module, it could do enhanced damage, speed, accuracy or possibly give it AP1 (2 maximum)
-Electro-Darts (electricity)
-Magna-Darts (blast maybe, but i doubt we'l lever get blast weapons)
-Incendiary Darts (heat)
-Acidic Darts (acid, i know, we already have heat and acid.)
-Phase-Darts (Stun.....)
-Cryo Darts (cold)
each dart module would have a limited number of uses like a power-up. To offset this, I'm sure the devs can think of something. Weaponsmiths would be able to make these dart modules.
This may be a lame attempt to be creative, but atleast itssomething different then what we usually seem to get (energy,heat,acid....)

wonder whats in store for faction armor (not to stray form the subject of these new carbines and such).

Lol I hope they make the robotic arms take some rare loot component. They would be cool to have, especially for a mercenary or BH type character, but it would be stupid if every other person you saw in the starport had a robotic arm.
I also kind of wonder how armor would work with them, if they would prevent you wearing full armor and be a liability... or if they resisted damage on their own somehow.

theres snowtrooper armor in Pub 10 too.
but back to our class. i am really excited about getting new guns. soooo excited i annoyed the **edit** out of my girlfriend talking about it for over an hour! haha

either:
a. we re getting new planets soon, hoth included, and theyre giving us the armor ahead of time
b. they put it in, not thinking about what theyre doing, and not taking into account we have no snow planet, instead of giving us something that would fit the current game. like scout armor.

well we can only hope and wait..... get a hell of a lot of credits and make some weaponsmith friends and hope they are craftable.... of course we need conformation from the devs, they could be fakes but i sure hope not.
