I use an E11 (71-147, 2.9) when working solo, because I am willing to give up some damage on the top end for more minimum damage. When grouped (or when facing an armored target) I use my laser carbine (30-236, 3.9). I have a DXR6 and an EE3 set aside for special purposes, but I don't tend to use them often. Those are pre-slice (haven't found a smuggler I can trust yet) non-powerup numbers.

I am apparently going to need to pick up a post-patch snubnose, those are some impresive numbers, JustinSane!

I've looked at a few elite carbines on Chilastra, but haven't yet seen one that is better than my E11. This weapon needs love.

I use a DH17 for most random missions. It has a damage of 90 - 168 with a speed of 2.1. This is also my choice because of the to hit mods on it. at point blank it is only -10 to hit, idel range is +5 and long range is -15. so it has a pretty good hit rate for some very fast decent damage.

I also carry an EE3 for 2 reason, if something has resastance to energy i switch to this, and if i know i will be using alot of specials since the ham costs are about a third lower then my dh17.

Im looking for a lasor carbine but they are hard to come by on my server because of lack of resourses.

I use a Laser Carb for armor piercing and a DH17 Short for everything else.

My DH17 is 63-208 2.8 unsliced with a Powerup

Elite carbines are junk at the moment. Low damage, low AR, not low enough speed. I use a laser right now, with powerups its around 30-310 2.6 speed (sliced for speed, powerup is 30%dmg)

DH17 Snubnose: 80 - 202 dmg, 2.5 spd, HAM 21/30/13

Laser Carbine: 36 - 246, 2.6 spd, HAM 31/48/24

EE3 Carbine: 97 - 189, 2.5 spd, HAM 67/61/46

All of those are sliced with no powerups. I use the DH17 most of the time, unless I run accrost something that has medium armor. Then i use the laser. I dont use the ee3 muchbecause ofthe redicuously high HAM cost.

DXR6 and Laser are my perfered weapons.

EE3, E11, and DH17 are all nice, but I find that my Laser and DXR6 vastly outperform them. (DH17 is the best of the 'lesser' carbines, it has REALLY nice HAM costs, but it is only on par with Laser for DPS, and AR2 v. AR0 means that the Laser will do 50% more damage)

I love my laser, got it down to 2.1 speed sith a slice and powerups. damage is like 40-290 or something like that. Usually the bad guys are dead before I'm worried about the HAM and Ihunt with a medic anyways. Looking for a descent Elite, but the only advantage from them that I have seen is a higher minimum damage.
