Been reading the patch notes on the test center... Jedi are being well and truely fixed.. Should be able to solo a knight now

Very possible to survive with a little medical skill and good stims. I dueled a master powers on TC last night... Duel last until I missed a heal because they got a knockdown in with force push at the same time as I went to use a StimD. But it does hurt... 428 damage per tick past all defences - and 2 ticks before it runs out, stacked with the strongest force lighting (800 damage post armor reduction) and the force knockdown got me.(lighting +knockdown + final tick = lights out)

Supression fire is working now and it's great. It has a wide cone area of effect, and hardly any cool down time or action cost. The snare only last for several seconds but cannot be resisted. It is set up for you to spam against the enemy when you are trying to put some distance between you and them and works great if youare getting swarmedswarmed.
I believe the snare is so short because it is not intended that you use it as a one shot free snare then fire off another high damage shot. The only way you can make it work effectively is to keep spamming it and only it. Provided you are hitting the target the results are a fairly constant snare as long as you are using suppression fire.
I haven't used it a lot in PvP yet but so far it seems to work great to slow down the advance of approaching enemy players.

You don't know what you're talking about.
And your Jedi hate is misguided. Jedi getting fixed patch by patch is the DEVS' fault. They're the ones who've made BH vs. Jedi a priority to constantly tinker with, they're the ones who did NOT balance Jedi at ALL when the CU hit.
We all pay $15 per month - if you're not satisfied with what you get for it, take your money elsewhere.
Carbineer got a lot of love in the CU. If you can't see that, then I question whether you've really played since launch. And if you have, I don't know if you've really been playing Carbineer or not.

I wouldn't worry that much. Generally all jedi will have some enhancer and healer, with a little LS and/or defender. Ifa Jedimasterspowers, it means they lack in other areas of the force. Generally, investment in Master Powerstakes away from defensive abilities, including healing. True, some Jedicould and probably will go MP/MD, but that's not really a sane or rational template, especially with the cost of Avoid Incapacitation going up.Also,MP/MDs will be literally eaten alive by more "standard" Jedi.
It's a great (and necessary) balance.
hmm, I know that suppression fire is working better, but it doesn't seem to last 4-5 seconds to me, and it doesn't tend to hit all targets in the cone most of the time for me. I haven't been overwhelmed by it honestly.
Not complaining too loudly, because carbineer is pretty nice overall.

Carbineers have done pretty well so far really compared to profs like Smuggler, Squad Leader, Ranger, Commando, Musician etc....it's a big list really.
Carbineer has all its skills working pretty much, thats a rare thing! If it isnt broke, dont fix it.....ask for a fix when nothing is wrong and your asking to have something broken, nerfed or just removed.
We Smugglers were happy that nothing new was broken with the latest Pub, nevermind getting things fixed!
