Heh, I dont really do much but PvE.
I go in un-armored and unbuffed except for my composite helmet

For well over 6 months I played without buffs all the time. Then in january my guild started to trying buffs and now we're all hookedon buffs. Hardly any of us play without buffs, including me.

Master Carbineer/Master Doctor here so if I am hunting, I am buffed.
I will flip the question around a bit. I find armor + buffsmakes youpractically invinciple in most PvE. I also found that with good use of my Carbineer specials, I do not get touched meaning I do not need armor.
How many of you get buffed, then fight in clothing?

I am also a Master CH so I use my pets to tank and go un-buffed with no armor. I have been thinking about dropping CH and getting Doctor for the self buffs as I am not usually online long enough to pay for the buffs.
For those that are Carbineer and Doctor; how well is that working for you and is it a viable option while playing solo?

I am a Mon Calamari Carbineer right now. I loaded all my stats into my Mind and secondaries, so buffs are essential with all my health stats at 300.

I usually use the Action and Health version of brandy (can never spell it right from memory, so don't bother), and SynthSteak.
But my Alt is a chef so I can make custom batches.
When I'm in groups, i get free buffs.

Yes, I haven't PvP'd recently and I can do mid level Faction missions with only default attacks and mid-rangearmor.

Depends what I'm fighting. If I'm doing fairly hard hitting stuff that I know will either be doing ranged specials or will be getting close to me, I will wear armor. Otherwise, its just a waste of armor condition.

I haven't been able to fight without buffs for a while. Problem is that sometimes i can't find any docs lol

I wish I weren't as reliant on them as I am. Recently I've been playing with buffs a lot because try as I might, I can't even make my HAM budge with a good buff on due to HAM costs. Without buffs I'm good for maybe 3-4 specials and then it's either incap in one hit or if I'm lucky regen a bit.

well i only don't use buffs with my carbine when i have a death wish, but as for armor i ALWAYS wear my armor when using carbine, but that could just be cause it gives me +20 speed +18 accracy +12 Accuracy while moving and +5 counterattack.....
