Yeah I see Tortons on top of one another quite often (but not in combat) as my home is on Rori. And I have used literally thousands and thousands of tortons to grind Carbineer, Pistoleer, Commando, Creature Handler, Smuggler but only once or twice have I ever seen two stand on top of one another in combat.

Just to confirm, I have had 2 PCs standing within 1m of eachother. I was dueling both of them. My non-special attacks only hit one of them. (The other had no effect, which means no damage, nothing marked in the logs, and no dodging or other visible indication that he had taken fire which did not affect him.)
