I don't think anybody here is doubting that a TEMPLATE Carbineer can be very effective. But look at a Master Carbineer / Master Architect character.....which I was one....damn near completely useless.
I now have Master CH because I PvE mostly, but I am picking up Pistoleer 0040 to help in PvP now.
On the Valcyn server the predominance of Templates makes being a single combat profession near suicide. Sure some professions can win in certain situations but even templates have their weaknesses. Kind of makes the game interesting IMO.
So in a nutshell bh carbines=good, bh carbines+carbines=very good, carbines alone=not so good probably the weakest combat profession.
One thing people say on here all the time is if you are buffed, have the right carbine, the right food and the right drinks then you'll do ok as a carbineer, but if you are pretty much anything else and you have all those things you're damn good.
