If you want to fight in a group as a carbineer, become a combat medic.

-Area stims are the greatest help that a group can get.

-With the high HAM costs, goodmedic skills are essential if a carbineer is to be effective without buffs.

-Carbineers look a very good bet in PvP against someone with a mind poison

-If anybody really gets on your nerves it is great fun to Disease them.

-CM's have reasonable burstrun effeciency to make up for having to drop Scout to do this combo.

I have been a master Squad Leader and can tell you that it is not at all useful to anybody.
