master carb master bh. Unless you are actively plan on being a doc (instead of a being just a self buffer) be a BH. Going master doc just so you can buff yourself is like going master weaponsmith just to make your own guns. Just spend 10K each time you play and save 140 pts

Can we at least get it stickied until it's ready for the FAQ? With the new influx of carbineers I see alot more questions regarding wepons.

It isnt so simple for me. I was a Doc/Carbineer before I started hologrinding a bit so I know and enjoy the combo. Plus I have3 advantages going for me. #1. I have +83 speed so going BH will only grant be a bit more speed, accuracy and the new specials. It is something, but not everything. Gaining LLC would be nice. #2. I have really nice Doc resources so that all my buffs/stims are very nice. #3. This build with the doc and the fast carbines allows me to actively hunt CM in PvP which makes me valuable in group PvP.

On the flip side, I am dying to try the high end BH specials especially sprayshot and confusionshot.

I really should go BH and try it out and then decide. Grinding isn't really an issue for me aside from the AP experience which is a royal PITA.

I am sure I'll decide something by this weekend.

I'm still waiting to get those weapons from my WS. He's been playing his Jedi about 85% of the time he spends online, which is totally understandable. I've been neglecting things a little too, as I started a second character on Monday and have been concentrating on leveling him up.Like TA, I'm just as comfortable with the weapons section as I have it now. Having the weapon stats aren't very important in my mind, as you will still see a huge variation of them across different servers as well as different weaponsmiths. Feel free to sticky it, put it in the FAQ as is, or wait for the stats, either way is fine with me.

Perhaps we should take a sort of vote on the matter? I don't want to hijack this thread any further, so go reply to my original thread with the info and vote either to wait for the stats or to sticky it now, or to toss it in the FAQ now.

If you are happy with it, I'm happy with it.

I might reformat it to fit into 1 page though.

I agree with Nova, with +155 Accuracy, +85 Speed, +55 Accuracy while Moving, +125 Counterattack is there really a need to dabble in BH or even master it, I think not when I would have to give up 4440 Fencer and 0043 Pistoleer.

And I have Dizzy/PD/Stun/Intimidate SEA's along with boosts to Melee/Ranged Defense to almost cap those....hate to give all that up....

Well then in your case since you are actually BEINGa doctor and not just someone who uses /healenhance self all day then I'd recommend staying withdoc. Don't forget the weapon switch timer really hurts the versatility of being a BH and sorta pigeon holes you into a single weapon.

Since your mods are already fairly high then I'd skip BH since it involves pistol, the LLC and the mother of all non Jedi grinds which is Investigation. I'm primarily a BH who just happens to love carbines so I'm stacking carbineer along with my BH template now that I have that option available to me.

In a previous thread I started I was surmising about the advantage of +200 accuracy because everyone talks about defenses as the end all be all but the whole point of defenses is to make the other guy miss and if the other guy has +200 accuracy which can be improved to +235 with food then they won't miss as much.

But I'm digressing from the original topic at hand so. . . .

With +115 speed I can kill myself WAY more faster than you can now!!!!

(Also app points are not that difficult for a BH since it's becoming a FOTM type profession again)

MBH/MC is a great mix, you get the low HAM cost of the Carbineer specials mixed with the high speed and accuracy of BH.

Would M Carbineer / 0440 BH / 0044 Pistoleer be good?
