If you want to play true support, 3000 Doctor is enough and I'd recommend CM 4404. You want CM's "Mind Heal" ability which is in the second branch as a Support Carbineer.
Tossing poisons and diseases is only the third of their strength.. area cures and mind heals make up the rest.

Good point - I had completely forgotten about the area cures, heh.
I suppose if you're able to toss them, then healing someone's mind would not be as crucial. Ideally, you always have 2 Combat Medics in a group.. one that tosses and one that heals.

PvP'ing with a combat medic is great fun. CM draws fire while you work the posture changes in the background, because who cares about a carbineer when they have a combat medic tossing poisonsand diseaseson them. If you are grouped with a CM who can withstand some damage it doesnt take to long to wipe out enemy groups providing there isnt more than one jedi. Of the different templates of people I have PvP'd with, CM has to be my favorite for the reason listed above.
