ROLF.
Good call there.
Since i remade my character, i was on Tat killing some Dune Stalker's, and i always end up knocking them down with dizzy, they kept falling.
Cept, i had around 300 health left, the Dune Stalker had around 100, and wouldnt you know it, i put a special on my list, but before i pull it off, he Adv Strafed me. 500 damage after the armor reductions, caught me totally by suprised.
I enjoy seeing NPC's using tactics.

Who can even touch that guy ? I sure hope he doesn't spam specials like PCs door he'll take out a fully-sized grouped in a matter of seconds (adv strafe is cone effect btw).
they do and there favorite shot is overcharge.
i fought an observer this morning and got killed pretty fast.
each shot was over 5k damage and my armor blocked over 3k each time.
I WAS 3 SHOT

This morning in Ft Tusken 3 or 4 of us took one of these down. It took a while, but it wasnt that hard with a TKM tanking. No one died...except me... the carbineer
but i wasnt really paying attention after the 1st 150k ham.

It's possible, trust me. Take a good TKM with you, and make sure one of you can heal. From there it's just about landing crippling shots as fast as possible and as hard as possible while he tanks for you. With a TKM tanking a canyon krayt I can do 80% of the damage while he just takes 100% of it. In fact, you might even want to go as far as taking your armor off so that there is absolutely no mind cost when doing your attacks. Just hope your TKM stays alive and that the guy doesn't come after you

Tuskens are ALOT easier if you force him to go melee, as stated in above post, get a TK tanker and keep him intimidated (similar strategy to nightsisters). Having commando/BH/smuggler/pistoleer on my toon that went to the squill cave I saw little chance against the guy that I pulled out a few bomb droids (39 power) sent them his way each time and shot a rocket launcher at detonation then ran to peace out, it was amusing up to the point that it actually pissed him off and I couldn't peace out until I got over 300m away from him.
And boy does his shots hurt, 5799 strafe shot and 6325 overcharge.

First time I saw a Tusken Observer I just fired at him...when my HAM halved in 2 shots I thought to myself "hmm this isn't going to plan" so I did what all self respecting Carbineers do ....... I RAN.
I got half way over the hill before he took me out so as I lay there waiting for clone activation I checked out his stats and wouldn't you know itthe only thing that hurts them is cold.
So I learned the hard way - Always examine your prey if your not sure what your dealing with
p.s.
I duelled a Master Fencer for fun and he actually said I would have beat him if I kept running. Problem was we did it at Coronet Starport while waiting for a shuttle. The lag made my screen freeze 3 times during our fight and he kept catching me
so if I can almost win (and I suck PvE) then there's hope for us yet

you can solo any mob in game with any melee template. thats what makes me sick about this game someone with a stick can kill sh!t but guns are useless.
