that's so fun. I ALREADY kick asses in PvP with my carbines, including against good PvPers. there was that guy the other day unbuffed unarmored owning people in duels he was owning like EVERYONE. I meet him 1 week later, we did 2 duels, he won once, I won once.

I can take defense stackers, riflemen whoever with ease (harder against ranged fighters but still), at start they thought I was using rifles (dxr6 carbine looks like dxr6b rifle), then they got surprised.

some of em didn't want to duel me at first, cause they were so sure they'd own me, then, seeing I was winning most of the duels, they did duel me and got their ideas bout carbines totally screwed.


bout mind damage, try hitting a mind shot on someone under 2 brandies, 1 canape, 1 muon and 1 synthsteak. before the time the steak is gone, you're incapped, plain and simple. I really don't fear mind hitting peeps, they're so previsible and sure of their template. not even talking bout the CB when mind attacks will be removed.

then the way to go will simply be carbines. not as FOTM cause carbines require tactics and strategy as they're more offensive than defensive and you got no "I win" button, but unlimited possibilities, kickass dizzy, posture down and KD attacks, power attacks (scatter2, crippling), well, all it takes to succeed in a fight.

yeap 90% comp is THE issue, that's why I prefer duels over Factionnal PvP.

where factionnal PvP is ruled by Fencers (stun baton), Rifleman (jawa ion), and pistoleers (Geo Blaster), and people with dots. and of course lightsaber dudes.

I can't see no interrest in GCW atm, cause it's too restricted, so Imma do like the others: wait for combat revamp/balance.

I dropped mbh/mcarb/nov medic for bh 4400, tkm, smuggler 0010, nov carbineer,and am having great luck vs jedi.

true, hunting jedi with a gun is pointless, better walk to the clone center and save you a set of buffs.

But that doesn't mean we can't kick some serious ass like a FOTM. The professions that are FOTM are only so because they are the easiest to succeed in, with a little more smarts and effort carbineer can be just as good or better (especially with some new guns).

I did that with what is currently out there. Didn't win alot but I gave them a fight.
