I don't know how any Carbineer can survive without a DXR6, Laser, Elite, and EE3 - DH17/enhanced E11highly recommended too. I also carry Krayt and non-Krayt versions along with the 3 DOT carbines I have. All professions must match their weapon of choice to the target

I been using Nym's Slugthrower & Elite Carbine, it been going fine.

Have a Dx6 if things get nasty but this far with bh carbine & carbineer tree it been calm.

where can i find a slugthrower?? And how do i get it "krayted"?

My primary weapon is my speed-sliced EE3, followed by my DH17Short, and my speed-sliced DXR6... I carry a high-damage model Elite for PvP, and I have an old Laser which I rarely use

Lord Nym's missions reward is the slugthrower.

It is "looted" and can not be crafted, so no Krayt Slugthrowers.
