Thread: Another carbineer setup
No this is incorrect. Melee defense and ranged defense as well as all defense vs. stats are stackable. That means any box you earned a bonus with will always have that bonus active unless you drop the box. Equipped weapon has nothing to do with the stackable stats. The only thing that deals with the weapon you hold is mitigation. If you are a carbineer your mitigation from that profession will be active when you are holding a carbine. Melee mitigation for when you are holding your fencer weapon.

The way I came to this thought was I watched my combat menu one day while having my first melee defense + from fencer and I received more damage while using my carbine and LLC then when I armed up with a fencer weapon.

I find it hard to believe you will EVER be using Carbineer much with this template, but maybe you will prove me wrong.....
Just like picking up a Melee Master.....Carbineer rarely gets used....which is why I am not Master Fencer
Personally I design my templates to ONLY use Carbineer as the only offensive weapon, which may not be as strong as this or many other templates.......call me stupid, but I like only using a Carbine ![]()
