Hey C `mon guys, let it off SOJ, hes doing a decent job on tryng to help us carbineers.

The fact that Carbineer has no upcomingfixes on next updates doesnt imply that SOJ hasn`t told anything to the devs about our issues.

You have to remember that a Profession correpondent has no power whatsoever to oblige the devs to fix us. The correspondent gathers the major issues on the profession post and communicates it to the devs, its always up to the devs when and if they will actually apply the fixes.

Also, if he put as top issue our specials , it is because there was a thread tha he started asking us carbineers which was our prime issue. If you look at that thread, you will see that among everyone who posted there was a overwhelming majority that considered our broken special as our biggest issue. Yes the HAM costs ans speeded were also considered, but the majority considered that our top issue was to fix specials. So SOJ just did his job, he was asked which was our major issue and he just replied `broken specials` cause that what the majority voted. Also, HAM costs and speed are among our issues but sadly the majority dindt considered them as out top issue.

BTW, the devs already officially announced lowering HAM costs on carbines. You should check Holocron thread at the top of this forum. Sadly , in that thread Holocron also anounces that carbines may be done even slower than they are!!! so yes we have speed issues, and they may get even worse, but that`s not SOJ fault, blame it on the DEV`S!!!!!

If it were simple as telling them to get something done and them doing it right away, things would be different.

Blaming SOJ for what the Devs do is naive. He isn't their boss nor does he set their priorities. He is a conduit of information between the Devs and players. All he can do is provide info. If they are not going to listen, is that SOJs fault?

Please read the other forums. This game, not just carbineers, are in sad shape. The Devs are not listening to anyway.

I realize SOJ is the only visable target to attack and thus he is attacked but any intelligent person should realize in the end he is just a player with a fancy title and not a Dev.

If you have a problem with how the devs are handling the game, I suggest you write a letter to SOE and demand your issues are addressed.

My goodness, I've been chased from the Carbineer forums, and this is why. How can you ignorant bastards possibly flame SOJ for the devs lack of attention to our class? He is merely SOE's designate to give them the Carbineeer issues. This man DOES NOT walk into SOE's corporate offices, chat it up with Holocron and Q-3PO over coffee, and make the defining decisions for the game. He compiles information on a list and sends it to SOE in an e-mail at his house from 3-Mile Island, or wherever he lives. Get the **edit** off his back, because he has done a wonderful job staying on the devs about Carbineers.

To glowing_eyes up there, you must be new here. SOJ has done nothing but keep us informed, and if you ask him something, he responds in record time. Look at this thread, and checkthesecond poster's name. Start a thread yourself and address it to him. See how soon you have an answer from the man directly. If there's nothing new to say, how many times must he get on and say "no new news"?

Anyway, if you really want to be Carbineer, go for it and be patient. Commandos were broke for what --- 2 months? --- and now look at them. People got the class anyway, so as soon as they got fixed, you had Masters running around. I plan to lead by example, as I have dropped most of my BH skills and all Pistoleer skills to go Master Carbineer. Doctor too, but when the world's perfect, I'll get everything I want without having to ask. Till then, I fight the good fight.

Well, as much as I wish I could chat it up with the devs and program a few changes here and there, I can't. Although makes for some interesting posts, getting on my back isn't going to make things any better. However, if you wish to continue, feel free to as I know the fustration you all must feel.

However, there isn't really much that I can leak and Ileak whatever I can. I think I'm kind of going over the border with some of my posts and I will go over the border again. I think there will be a few answers coming next week. Hopefully there will be news (most likely good) to be told next week if it happens and if I'm permitted.

ummmm... they nerfed cripplingshot? when? i havent noticed anything different about it at all.

SOJ is doing a lot for us. HAM costs are going to be fixed (eventually) he cant just go tell the devs to get it done right now

SOJ may have no power but let us know whats going on. The DEVS won't talk to use so he is our only source of info.

ok thx SOJ that was really what i wanted to hear that they know whats going on and that fixes (we hope) are anticipated (soon).I know this info you gaveis far from certain but when iseewhat looks like the last DEV post in here being 2 months ago I was giving up hope.

I only stop in here occasionaly and even though i have been master carbineer for 1.5 months an can get it to work i can be reall boring having a very limited list of attacks for PvE and mainly one goodgun to chose from. Also with as few ppl we have running around It has been getting harder to find high quality carbs.
