oh and on further note you asked us to tell you what we saw. As far as testing goes wouldn't that fall on the people that develop and maintain the game? I am a player not a dev. You want hard data. You test. i just told ya what i saw. And yes i bugged it in game like a good little test rat.

No what you saw was the Weapon Examine Window not working.....but that tells the Devs nothing of how the mods really function.
I am just trying to be clear on what bug you found......I might be able to get my old test data and compare firing speeds from now to then, but I mostly tested for damage modifiers.
As for the way supression fire is now with the slow snare on targets charging....If you get a group that understands it i can CAP Carbine EXP in 2 HOURS on dat with this...it works fine to me : )
Rapid Fire...If this is just going to be an area damage dealer and considering you get it at 0040 Marksman...I would like a higher damage mod to make it special. 1.6 would be nice. Or considering aoe is suppost to be the commando's take...How bout making the master Rapid Fire use less action. The guy using all this area stuff realy cant run out of action before the group is ready or hes toast lowering the sac cost for this seems fair : )
Full Auto Area. This shot has a realy good hit rate and the 90 deg area is prety nice. But the damage is crap...I do realy like its unqness but imo would be more usefull if it did a tad more damage or less action.
I understand we cant have every one of our shots doing the damage needed or we would be a 5 in offence rather than a 4. To make up for that i feal our croud control low damage shots should cost us less action than other professions status shots. For example if someone blinds a mob they are blind for a good bit if they dont cure it and that player does not need to blind again to soon. But with our supression fire or full auto area to get agro and pin it down. We wont be killing anything high but need to keep shooting this low damage stuff...Drasticly lowering our potential dps in these situations. Therefor we should have some action modifiers to aid us in this role.

No, that is called trolling and is NOT a Carbineer Issue.
IF something was specific about Carbine Crafting and not all weapon crafting THEN we would report it.
mmmmm apologies if it was considered trolling. I visit all the combat forums to gauge what each profession is looking for in weapons and to keep up to date on any bugs etc. my customers may not know about.
Attribute my posting to anxiety that a fix was not being acknowledged for near a week. I play to craft and really enjoy making the sweet goods.
I will be more circumspect in the future.
again, sincere apologies. Please delete my two posts, if ye can, to clear up your thread

I would suggest explaining yourself like this when you post in a bunch of threads......then most folks won't have a problem with it.
Thanks for the followup post
When people have this type of attitude it is always nice to have posts from them here....no need to remove your posts.
No.
I think there is a new breed of carbineers.
Those who arent satisfied with our profession as it is now, are mostly the pre CU carbineers and those who like crowd control.
Those new carbineers are post CU carbineers and love us because of our damage out put and flexibility in range in combination with either rifles or pistoles or BH specials.
So, yes looking at the number of carbineers around, a lot of ppl like our profession the way it is now.
Offense: 4 of 5.
Crowd Control : 2
Defense: 3 (because we with our running speed with an equiped weapon and snares and our range larger then 35m gives us a very good defensive tactic: kiting)
So, we are at a breaking point.
Keep us where we are satisfying the new breed of damage carbineers (who use BH specials anyway) or going back to what the old school carbineers want, namely crowdcontrol ...
You know the old schoolers(from pre CU) TA, your self want more crowdcontrol and are the opinion that we re dealing a bit much damage almost in doing the riflemen s job and we all know that the majority of ppl is not always right (see "everything what the jedi want").
Take us back to crowd control TA ....

I just go by the design intent of SOE.....everything we do is about crowd control per the design specs, but LIVE is much different from that ![]()
If I wanted to be the most damaging person in the group, then I would be a Rifleman.....every prof has its role and SOE has it all messed up right now ![]()
I have no problem with Pistoleer being the "states" crowd control profession. Yes, we had the states before the CU hit. We stunned, we dizzied and we fired Wild Shot like mad. But the CU has given states to Pistoleers. This is fine by me. I think we can still fulfill our role as a crowd control profession if we are the "positional" crowd controllers. We're half way there. We have a snare, cone snare, and KD. If we can get the cone KD, as TA is trying to get for us, I think that will pretty well round out our role as positional crowd control.
