i honestly dont see these krayt carbines as being that amazing for their price. Ive been buying these handmade stocked and scoped carbines from a vendor on my server and they kick ass. All their speeds are under three seconds (on a laser, a DXR6, and an EE3 that is good) and they are all damage sliced (except the DXR6 cuz i cant find a slicer) but anyway they are doing comparable damage and with BH carbines and Master carb i dont have to worry about any of the speed issues.

plus all of these carbs were around 300k instead of however many mil the krayt are.

The only REAL use for the Krayt Tissues are for Speed, which you obviously don't need.....but for a non-BH Carbineer they are critical....but the Imps Stocks and a Speed Slice will do the same, but less DPS of course.

I pay about 100k - 200k per tissue and 250k per Imp Stock.....on top of a minimal weapon cost.....so they aren't THAT expensive

Bermag,

I think the majority of carbineers have now gone BH/Carbineer and so those stocked/scoped lasers are really nice. Even better damage sliced

I do think this is an incredibly difficult problem with the upcoming limits because you ideally need to stock both stocked and non-stocked versions.

One the flip side, speed-sliced versions are awesome for non-speed capers and damage-sliced great for the cappers.

I am coming shopping at your store this weekend so break out the good stuff

I just had a great idea, nova. You should go 'covert' and make a character on all the servers to just browse the carbines selection. Maybe even make some suggestions to the WS's out there to try and get better carbines cranked out.

Please start with shadowfire first

under 3 seconds? hrm...

I suspect all of those carbines are made with the form fitting stock.

FWIW, since speed doesn't matter to you, you can get more damage with using just normal advanced stocks. The fitting stock is slightly less damage. It also reduces the speed instead of adding it like the crafted ones (that is why your guns are so fast).

The form fitting stocks are also somewhat rare. I know some players can easily get their hands on them, but in way, they are more rare that krayt tissue even though the price of tissues is much higher.

i dont believe they use those stocks but they might. From what i understand they experiment for speed but then again i was never a weaponsmith. Ill find out from them about it. Most of these guns do good damage especially after the slice.

All my 'standard' Carbines are made with an Advanced Stock, and a Low HAM scope (1/1/1, or 0/0/0 depending on the run)

I also make runs of Carbines marked Low HAM in the title, with no stock.

Anyone who wants a custom Carbine, *always* wants a Stock and Scope (high HAM high Accuracy).

They don't care about speed. They either simply see the Max damage, or else they want the look of the Stock.

That's just the way it is.

*shrug*
