yeah theres quite a few threads on it, now you just lose skills instead of getting blue glowy

awww cmon Devs. Blue Glowie was a great idea!

I would love to be a blue glowie just to roleplay with, bummer, maybe they will bring it back with enough spammers asking for it later

blue glowing thingee was a reward for achieving jedi master not for the lower levels. i dont think anyone knows for sure if it is still there or not as no one has achieved master yet and perma-died enough.

you could always delete your character and start over, blue glowy wouldnt be forever, its up to you? Rememer your slot is forever, what you do with your characters is up to you

I think the "blue glowie" would be neat if it was something that could be placed, like a vendor.

Your master dies, your primary character gets the ability to place the Force Spirit in your home. Sure, it's a static object, but it's still a neat "I did that" piece.

And then you can try it over again, but get a red one this time...}=]>

wouldn't becoming a blue glowie upon death (for a short duration) solve bh grief play and be cool at the same time?

it could be a 10min timer or ended by the player, or some other duration/event.

would allow the players to move to a safe location and logout or choose a safe cloning center to bind himself to. lot of little details would need to be worked out (such as travel, being seen by other jedi, etc.)

would end clone center camping.


even cooler, noone can see you as a blue glowie (except other jedi) yet emotes still work...

bounty hunter kills you, you become blue glowie (instead of cloning), corpse disappears. bounty hunter sees emote "the force slaps you upside the head'

Hmmmm, how about being a blue glowie after a death and skill loss? Then you must "teach" a skill to a young jedi (at which point you get your life and lost skill back).

yeah.. its an interesting solution.

but not one to fix things.. not with the issue we are referring to.

We're just kicking ideas around.

(or else someone might have realized clone camping was going to be an issue when we POSTED A HUNDRED THREADS ASKING ABOUT IT for the past month).
