My carbine skill mods are at speed 105 is there any point to try and get more skills in speed. And also what about accuracy is it capped at 100.

at weapon speed of +100 you can fire any speed weapon at the 1.0 speed cap.

lets put it like this, every point of speed mod is how much of a percentage reduction you'll have on your speed. at +60 your reload time will be 40% of what it wouldve been(if at 0 carbine speed you fired once every 5 seconds with a weapon using a special, you'd now fire once every 2 seconds). so if you have +100, then you SHOULD be firing once every 0 seconds, meaning you'd be firing a constant stream of energy from your gun and your target would die as soon as you attack. thats why the speed cap is necessary, the fastest anyone can fire is once every second.
if you have +100 carbine speed, then it doesnt matter WHAT carbine you have, it doesnt matter WHAT special you use. absolutely no matter what, every single shot you fire will hit the speed cap. thus getting +105 is redundant, because if there were no speed cap that would give you a negative percentage, meaning you would fire before you pressed the button...try to put THAT one in a game
. even just getting +99 is enough to be sure that you'll always hit the speed cap....to NOT hit the speed cap at +99 you'd have to have a weapon with more than 40.0 speed and be firing the slowest special we have, crippling shot, at its 2.5 speed multiplier, and even then you'd be firing so close to the speed cap it wouldnt matter. its safe to say that if you have +90 or more it doesnt really matter how fast your weapon is anymore, it all comes down to the max/min damage, HAM costs, and accuracy.
hope that makes sense
