Personally I think carbineers is one of the best proffesions for PvE, and with pub 7 we will be even better. PvP is a little harder at the moment and I usually get owned but that's because I suck at it and not the proffesions fault.

I'm really liking carbineer here too, for some reason it was the first combat class I wanted to do after I hit master marksman and I've stuck with it ever since. It's a pretty good prefession PvE, I can take out whole squads of Storm Troopers at once just using FAA2 and wildshot2, if they co-operate and bunch up for me anyway. As for PvP it's not too bad, I have gotten to using aim/chargeshot combo on defense stackers to drop them, then try toput as many states on them as you can before they get up, and nothing beats sticking a charge shot at 50m right in the back of a meleer who's trying to run away, looks so funny.

And we will only get better with the next patch, can't get much worse!

I picked up Carbineer as a holo profession, just before I grew bored of the holo grind and decided to just go with what professions made me happy. I was only 0/0/1/0 at the time but decided, against advice from all of my friends, to complete the profession and see what it had in store. I am currently 3/2/1/1.

I just completed Master Carbineer tonight to complete my Jedi Hunting template.

Master Carbineer + BH 3-4-0-0

I love Carbines,but buffs are a requirement not to livelonger, but to not kill yourself with the high HAMcosts.The other thing that was strange to me when I was going up the tree is every weapon combat profession usually has a sweet special up on the Master skill box. Master Bounty Hunters has Sprayshot to look forward to, Master Rifleman has their upgraded Strafe shot, etc. Master Carbineer box in terms of offensive specials is blank, lol

Lol im a 2-4-4-4 carbineer and atm I own.... at killing unbuffed wookies, and thats just about it

But when I pick up somethin else to go with it maybe I'll do a little better
