AND, each profession should be unique in some way.....so many people want THEIR toon to be all and do all and pwn all.....which can happen to some degree for the next 6+ months....

I suggested a Ranged Intimidation Shot (I called it /searshot for now) at the Marksman Forum. Why there? I proposed for it to be put in the Master Marksman Box which is often ignored.
The traffic is negligible in there so it's close to the top of recent threads.

Check it out to see if it's cool, sucks, or whatever. I believe I already got into a "disagreement" with a melee/defense stacker.

Basically you are suggesting that just BH's get a Ranged Intimidation.....well the current Intimidation works at 30m, which is far enough for me ![]()

No, I didn't say it would only be available to the Bounty Hunters. I suggested it to be in the Master Marksman Box. It places value in this often ignored box (not counting prerequisites).
With it at Master Marksman, it automatically benefits Bounty Hunters, Commandos, and any of the Ranged Elites if they invest in it.
As for regular Intimidation, as a ranged player, I try not to get into that range: Prime grounds for the various Lunge1/2's.

I forgot about Commandos....I think they might be more rare than Carbineers....
But honestly my point still stands, nobody wastes all those points in Marksman except BH's.....
And for a Defense Stacker as myself, Lunge1/2 mean little to me ![]()

I pick the "unique" ranged people.
Master Commando/BH 0404
Master Carbineer/MBH
All these templates have, for all intents and purposes, ZERO defenses (or close to it). I wear Stormtrooper Armor as I do these. I unfortunately have a liking to pain, it seems.

First, never suggest the Devs take something away, especially Def. vs Intimidate....
Second, why in the world would we ever deserve Melee Mitigation Level 3.....especially when mitigation is on its way out the door....
You are not a jackass and the rating system allows for obvious disapproval without typing a disertation on the subject.....
BTW, you are far from MY league in the One Star Bandit Stalker category
are they really taking mitigation away?

That is the rumor that will probably change.....and won't be here until January or February of 2005......if there are more than 10 people playing per server then....

I've seen people talk about it, but I haven't really seen anything concret in the regards to mitigation from the devs. There are4 things I know the devs are looking at for the Rebalance from various announcements:
- Overpowered Buffs
- Overpowered Armor (Composite)
- A new HAM system
- Big revamp on weapon speeds & accuracies; primarily ranged.
As for the Buffs and Armor, they said that it wasn't intended to get these to the point where they are right now.
