Nova,
I've never been an active participant here. Hardly anyone knows me here. Between work, real life beyond work, and duties of being both a guild officer and mayor of a player city, I never have had too much time to spend (other than slow times at work like right now) posting on the boards, mostly I just lurk and peruse the boards for important information/answers to questions.
Having said that, I just want to say that TA is right: you were, hands down, truly the best correspondant of the bunch IMHO, and having 3 accounts and either mastered or tried several professions on for size in both beta and live and having read input from many different correspondants across the forums, I feel very legitimate in saying that with the utmost confidence. You were the most thorough, detailed, dedicated guy to your calling, and did so for what has always been my first love since the first time I tried it on in beta over a year ago, however borked it's been since then. To say your presence and your input here will be missed is like saying the Pope is Catholic....it's an understatement and simply doesn't do justice to conveying what you've meant to all of us here and to the betterment of this profession. You have both my admiration and respect my friend. Here's hoping that, in time, you find your way back here, because this game and in particular this profession is better off with you around. Until then, may you be truly blessed in whatever other endeavours you undertake good sir.
/salute

This smells reallyfishy. Three main combat correspondents (pistols, carbine and Jedi) are ditching... so far, with no prior warning. Did the devs drop a bomb in the corr forum about something? I find it odd that you guys are deciding to ditch at the eve of the sandbox testing.
This does not look good. It just doesnt make sence. If you guys felt positive about the proposed combat changes you would stick around, unless otherwise for personal reasons of coarse, but nothing to indicate that, on the contrary.
In any case, thanks Nova for your time and effort as a correspondent. I really hope your and the other corrs efforts in the summitdid not go in vain.

By far, the greatest correspondant any profession has had. You did some great things for the profession and community. I wish you best of luck in life.

Sad to see you go, Nova. Let's hope the rest of us can keep this boat floating.

Best of luck man in your future. Truely sad to see you go. I loved carbineer while I had it, but with such a small close nit guild we needed more firepower for high end content... leading me to drop it for a more productive template for high end content. You were always one of the few correspondents that made sure to be get the leg work done and give the straight facts. Again, I wish you the best of luck in whatever you move onto and wish all you carbineers a strong leader to fill the big shoes of nova.

You guys can.... it is a blow to lose a good leader, but I am sure TA and Benny will be able to pick up the slack until someone is made correspondent and a few others.
Ok gotta go, can't keep trolling you guys' forums ![]()
