The reason why its called "Fireknockdown" is becuase you are putting heavy "fire" at a directed section of an enemy's body (the description for the special says the upper part of it I believe).

Fire can be meant two different ways. First is "the house caught on fire" and the second is more of a military or weapon adjective, such as "the troops put heavy fire on the left flank"

How about SupressionFire from Marksman Ranged IV, want that to catch people on fire too? See what I am trying to say?

ummm....sorry to break it to ya but Fire Knockdown isnt suppose to catch anyone on fire. Only KD/dizzy

The description says to knock down and dizzy with a flame of fire... Okayitdoesnot specifically say it should have a Fire DoT, but come on, you don't think it should have a chance to do a Fire DoT. A flame that knocks you on your back but doesn't burn you? hmmm...

Do you actually think that I don't do anything around here? Or Novamarine before me and SOJ before him? So why are YOU looking for support? Maybe I am confused, but I thought it was ME that communicated directly to the Devs.....geeee I must be confused.....

While we all are frustrated at times, please NOTE THE STICKY POSTS.....

And since you are new you don't know that Carbineer is the ONLY COMBAT PROF to get all of their Specials fixed....so lets not complain too much whey you clearly don't have all the facts.

Not to mention this is the 10000000000th time this same thing has been repeated, hence the STICKY POST on Issues and Status.

1. Replies like this come from new people not bothering to read the STICKY info......and some posts could be a bit nicer, but hey that is forum life....getting FLAMED is just what happens.

2. Don't let the FLAMERS bother you......please post here as much as you like, but please do a bit of reading too, which will make your posts sound better.....the better questions you ask, the better the responses

Seriously tho

BH's can land a fire dot on people/targets through their pistols special Torso Shot.

IMO you need to practice more. BH/carbs...if you pay attention to the rest of your skill point usage, is one of the most dynamic templates you can have imo.

Choose your weapons carefully, destroy that 260 max damage laser carb and go spend 30K on a nice gun.

Use this combo....

FireKnockdown

Crippleshot

Repeat crippleshot untill target gets up,

Action shot,

back to cripple shot.

READ THE FAQ. Read, before you post man....there is so much information, so many individual opinions on playstyle...If you can pay attention and look for the information, you will find all you need.

There comes a time in every mans life when 86 years is just too damn long...

What I think they mean by fire is not actually setting them on fire, but more of a suppresive (sp?) fire type move. I don't remeber it ever lighting people on fire either... I don't see how physically it could light someone on fire either...
