i have an unsliced laser carbine with 2.9 speed. just gotta put a power up on it. hehe

And I thought My laser Carb was good

2.630-247 dmg

EDIT err.. Sliced for speed and I don't use powerups.

Ok, it seems some guys here are having a hard time doing math. PBJoker, your gun has the following.

your Laser Carbine: Damage:53-256 Speed: 2.3 DPS: 67,2 Armor Piercing 2 (Medium)

Im not using a powerup either, i have a +33% max dmg, +15% speed powerup, but lets compare without these as you cant compare a weapon as long as we use different powerups.

myElite Carbine: Damage: 130-140 Speed: 1.5 DPS: 90 Armor Piercing 1 (Light)

Armorpiercing works as follows:

For eachcatagory under the target, your damage is halved. (50% less)

For each catagory over your target, your damage is mulitplied by 1.25 (25% extra dmg)

Its a bit hard to compare because the effektiveness of the two weapons take the targets armor into account.

But lets assume your weapon does "in general" 25% extra damage.

Your 67.2 DPS * 1.25 (the extra 25% dmg from AP) = 84

So you see, my weapon is still better

And then when you take into account that both of those weapons will shoot at the same speed with a high enough skill mod, the dps that's coming mostly out of the fast speed of the weapon will go down and down and down compared, making laser carbines far superior to the 1.5 speed elite carbine. So there really isnt a "best weapon" at all, causeit depends on what you shoot with it, and what skill level you use it at

Sure I can beat it, I'm using a 52-322dmg4.0 20.06% wound chance. Sliced... I can get this baby up too 400 with powerups. The thing is... I deliever 3600-4000 dmg on every third crippling shot (avg 2k dmg on crippling shot). Thats why I dont use the calculator to decide which weapon is better because its useless when it comes to special moves. Your 160 max dmg... probably avg's what 1100dmg on a crippling shot, max 1300?

Dmg sliced and with a 31% max dmg powerup:

92-531 dmg at 3.8 speed.

High ham cost though
