Its not an issue with carbineers, it is an issue with the KD timer which screwed anyone using a Carbine, and especially screwed carbineers whose only redeeming quality was KD!

The timer is the result of whining from the PVP community

I agree that KD should not be the only move that is used by carbineers and BH, and Pikemen and Tears kasi and etc, however the timer which was put in place has made those moves useless, and screwed the people using them. The people using them were for the most part semi advanced, or advanced characters who had paid thier dues and now had something cool to show for it. The weak and whining newbies and idiots who could not handle themselves in pvp were empowered at the expense of the rest of us who have actually put some time into the game, and our characters. I feel that this fix has neutered a large cross section of the player base and must be tweaked in some way to make KD fair for the people using it, and the people its being used on.

KD timer = power to the weak
