A BH/Pistoleer has those same State Attacks without any Carbineer......hence my confusion (pun intended).

a master carbineer has more state inducing attacks, and thus a better chance of them sticking, without having to switch weapons in combat (like a pistoleer would).

plus carbs are a higher damage weapon that is (with bh carbs anyways) speed capped.

if a pistoleer wanted to apply those same states every 10 seconds or however long they last (assuming the jedi doesn't heal them), he would have to switch to carbs, spam until they stuck, switch to pistols again (there's 5 seconds gone) and then get off another shot or 2 with his pistols, then switch back to carbs (5 more seconds) - by which time the jedi will have killed you

hope that clears up any confusion.

that means, carbs are a better jedi killer in my books..

well I say again.. a pistoleer can't apply those states (which are necessary to take out a jedi) unless s/he switches guns. --> this is what makes carbineer a better jedi hunter.

and if people don't pickup carbineer for the states, then why aren't you all riflemen
