Yup. Which is exactly why I'm here trying to figure out which carbineer skills to pick up with the 11 skill points I got from dropping four boxes of medic. Bounty carbine specials are currently broken, which makes my 1,200,000 xp investment in the carbine worthless. I'm hoping burst shot 1 and full auto single 2 will change this.
Actually the skills invested argument is a very sound one. Reason being, ifone hadeither master pistoleer,rifleman, or carbineer and with just one mastery alone, were equal to a bounty hunter in combat, that would in turn make the bounty hunter the weakest combat class in the game.
Why? Well, after you spent your 93 points to be equal to a master bounty hunter in combat, you would spend your remaining points to totally surpass him by miles.
If you spend 217 points in weapon mastery then other skills to augment it, then sure you will give a bounty hunter a run for his money. But straight up nothing but carbineer/rifleman/pistoleer being equal to a master bounty hunter? I think not.
