That being said a lot of the problems with the current carbineer are also problems with current systems in the game. For example speed. A Master Carbineer gets +60, a Master Swordsman gets +75. Really not a huge difference until the speed formula is applied at which point those precious extra 15 points become the world. Combat as a whole needs to a face lift in this game, not just carbineers ... and that is exactly what we are getting.



I'd say there are more jedi rather than: Image Designers, Carbineers, Smugglers, Architects, Master Pikeman (no not novice pikeman, we have too many DOT ppl that pick that up), Commando, Creature Handlers, Combined

Unfortunately, you're exactly right. They never meant to give it a fire effect (which sucks IMO, dirty devs).

Don't get me wrong, I"m not saying turn everyone into a tank, I'm just saying, if you take away buffs, that leaves most players with under 1k hit points in each area (because we spread our points over 9 stats.) I think that if you add about 2-3k additional points, you would last a little longer in combat, and it would help with the life sucking specials. My biggest problem with the game has been the lack of life given to high level players. At low levels, you have almost the same about of health as your prey. I'm going up against 280k ham Nova class Storm Troopers, and when buffs are taken away, with only about 1k health. Considering this guy can whack that in about 6 seconds (even when wearing 80% composite, which will also get nerfed), I will die, and very fast. I'm not saying turn everyone into a tank, but at high levels, you need to last longer than 1 hit. Just my PoV.








Again, take a group to kill it....this game will be returning to MMORPG shortly

I do see your opinion very well, didn't mean to be blunt with mine either.


All I have to say is give it a chance, I know we've given the devs many...but this time I truly believe it will make the game alot more fun. Just think of the early days when we would hunt in groups, it was a blast. Everyone had a role to play. It will take some getting used to, but I think we'll all enjoy it.

Fire Knockdown-This ranged attack blasts the target with a quick rush of flame aimed at thier upper body, which can cause them to bowled over by the sheer force directed at them, causeing them to become dizzy as well.



BAD GRAMMAR!!! It should be, "...which can cause them to BE bowled over by the sheer force..."
