Thread: Template Assessment

I tried that template nearly a year ago. Back then I wasn't speed capped and I really didn't like that. I could stay alive for a really long time. Like it took 10 minutes for 2 CMs and 3 other guys (forget what they were) to bring me down with all my heals. The problem was I didn't kill any of them because my damage output was so low. If you can get +25 Carbine speed (still won't speedcap you for the most powerful slice/stock combos) then that'll help greatly. Having FS Melee Speed IV plus like 12-15 Carbine speed tapes does the trick too. I suppose its great for grouping, but in a 1v1 setting, you're much better off with Rifleman/Doc if Doctor is what you want to be.

Carbineer/CM - Poisons will be 99% of your damage dealer, you'll use carbines soley to put some states on, then run around in circles till the other guy falls over to die.

Honestly Fabeon, I know your a bigtime PvPer, the best PvP carbine templates are the stacker ones. My absolute favorite template (I dropped it to hunt jedi though ) is Mcarbineer/TKM/Fencer 3400/Medic/FS Melee Speed IV. I was speedcapped for carbines, had capped melee/ranged defence, high def vs KD/PD, and the ablity to switch to TKM to lay the smackdown on jedi. Its alot of fun, and I got second place in the ranged PvP tournemnt with it, 1st place just put 3 different mind dots on me (it took him awhile to apply those though because he kept missing) and waited for me to fall over.

Yeah.. and even then, states are useless if you can't couple them with damage. I mean.. states aren't so bad that they completely mess someone up.. unfortunately.

Carbineer/CM is extremely passive.. and Carbineer/Doc is even more so. Many of the Carbineer/CMs/Docs I know rarely end up using Carbines.. simply because there's no apparent use for them.

Don't think you can throw in any Doc while making a Carbineer Defense Stacker....takes too many Skill Points.

Medic works great for heals but can't cure States
