LOL. Ok so its fine and dandy to spam low blow, intimidate,warcry2,ect....ect...


That is one of the few shots we have that makes carbineer worth it. So you got double teamed. Thats great. Your a bh. How do you think others feel about torso shot or eye shot??

Well, the way I look at, the day SOE fixes ANYTHING on carbineer, hell will freeze over. They can't even fix our title (would take all of 5 min to fix this), what makes you think they will fix this anytime soon?

lmao... when is chargeshot getting fixed so you can't fire while on the ground? 3 cripplingshots, and 1 dead carbineer later, i get up.

Low Blow = affected by KD Timer
Intimidate = can build up defenses to it, can stay out of range,and can run away if neccesary
Warcry2 = can stay out of range of it, can run away if necessary


Chargeshot = can be shot from any valid range, ignores KD timer, ignores Def. vs. KD mod, cannot run away if its spammed. Even though you may not be techincally knocked down, if you are not ranged, you cant do anything.


So they are a little different after all, no?


If you would have listed KD/Dizzy, I would agree with you. They are equally lame.

Like that one guy said before before about people spamming war cry and low blow, I agree with him.

People complain that all carbineers do is CS1 and it's completely cheap. Hmm, what is it that all BHs do? Dizzy/KD. What is it that all TKAs do? Dizzy/KD. What is it that all smugglers do? KD. Duh, why is it okay for you to do it but not carbineers?

BTW, today I took a TKM who was buffed and I was unbuffed, and I'm carbineer 1/3/4/3 BH 0/4/0/0 and I didn't use CS1. I was proving that I can still win without it.

The duel started out with us right next to each other, so I burst ran right away (a skill most people forget, but comes in handy. It's a great defense for BHs against melee profs, they are automatically Master Scout so they get a great burst run) and use Suppression Fire 2. I then hit him with my 260 potency action disease EE3, then pulled out my DH17 and stacked Action Shot 1 and 2, totally a disease and two bleeds to action. Around that time, he was getting up, and I just had to spam Leg Shot 2. He never got close to me.

I used no spice and was not buffed. The TKM was buffed and used no foods or spice. I took a bit of BoH and vercupti (+400 to mind regen (willpower, I think)) and that's all she wrote.

Now, I do realize that I had a 260 DOT weapon, but come on, he was a buffed TKM.

Carbineer rules if you know how to use it right, and carbineer/bh rules even more.

carb/BH rules cause you can dizzy and then hit with an unresistable KD.

To those who think that charge shot 1 is overpowered, you have to make sure you fully understand what a charge shot does. As was stated in this post a few times, yes, a charge shot forces a knockdown animation unless it misses. However, a 30 second timer is still in effect, it just works differently from other 30 second KD timers. If I charge shot you and it is successful, your toon falls down and a 30 second timer starts. For the next 30 seconds, I can get off 10 charge shots, and they may all hit, AND your toon may fall down 10 times, but on my screen, each one will 'fail to knock down target' and the target will still be able to shoot. What makes this shot useful to us carbineers is that when trying to make an escape from a creature, it does knock down and disable non shooting beasties. However, because pure carbineers don't have a dizzy effect attack, we cannot Dizzy/KD humanoid targets. But if we're grouped with someone who does have a dizzy attack, watch out!!! Also, to reiterate what was already said in this thread, very few of our other specials work right now, so having this is one of the very few reasons carbineers aren't extinct. This post's intention is just to inform. Please feel free to correct any wrong information I may have stated.

Charge shot is working as intended, what they need to fix is the message appears in the screen.

So what we need to do? start posting in all boards things like:

When is Eye shot getting fixed so you can´t spam it anymore?


When isSingle flamegetting fixed so you can´t spam it anymore?


When isKD/dizzy getting fixed so you can´t spam it anymore?


When is( put the skillu get killed )getting fixed so you can´t spam it anymore?

...

I get owned all the time by TKM, pistoleer, or 2-handed swordsman and I wouldnt even think about starting a nerf thread. They have these specials for a reason. Learn to work around them and play the game. Dont base the fact that getting owned once or twice now results in a nerf cry.


Plain and simple, u were measured....u were weighed...and simply found yourself wanting!

Peeps need to get off the CS1 rants already. Carbineers are supposed to have an area KD that has NEVER worked (CS2). They also have numerous other specials that are not working as intended (LS3, etc.). The Devs said CS1 "IS" working as intended, end of story.


So to all the haters,move on already. Carbineers are probably the most ignored combat profession as it is.Not to mention,the steep ham dependent specials that just about knock you out in 3-4 shots unless you reach for the cdef.Get over your"nerf everyone else but ME" issues.

It should be obvious to everyone that SOE is overlooking charge 1 until they can fix the rest of the carbineer class, without it we are absolutely useless.



The attic was less to us from the cellar the bones like the attic let them have it let them stay in the attic. When they sometimes come down the stairs at night and stand perplexed behind the door and headboard of the bed brushing that chalky skull with chalky fingers with sounds like the dry rattling of a shutter. Thats what I sit up in the dark to say.

And I can also go on the record to state that unless I am dizzy KD, only elite characters can beat me.


But I also have TKM.,.. somewhat near unescapable dizzy KD.


This is considering I have buffs of course.


So someone with Uber dodge or a rifleman can beat me (only because my charge shot will miss miss miss miss INCAPPED)


I think I could beat a pistoleer/smuggler/fencer if I played hard enough, but that's more like odds, most of the time they get me.
