I've used trees, rocks and creature lairs alot for cover and to block line of sight for single pulling npcs, it seems to work fine with most objects for me. The terrain itself however doesnt offer any kind of cover so sometimes they'll end up shooting from under a rock or a lair (through a hill or something). But other than that I've not had any problems apart from the random weirdness that happens occasionally.

That's actually one of the most useful ways of singling out npcs and I relied on it alot doing missions, just hide behind a tree so that a npc doesnt see me, positioned so that asecond one gets left behind a lair so it doesnt see me either, while I have line of sight to a third one standing right next to them, and I can shoot at it without aggroing the others.

Well, at least it seems like its not the same for all people. Some do get cover some don't. I'll check more in-depth tonight, maybe they have updated the LOS rules since I tried it last. If they have thats cool.

All I can come up with is hearing Han's voice over in the noob tutorial saying, "This place is gonna blow." I guess that's about it. At least Han was honest.
Playing SWG is like licking a steel post in the wintertime. Sure it hurts. If you leave, parts of you will remain.

Yeah, well, we can't all have generous parents who give their kids money to build a good graduation present, now can we?
