Someone on Starsider once looted an exception Laser Carbine that I think had 700 max damage, unsliced. Already, a 33% max powerup puts this baby at 931 max damage. Imagine it with a 35% damage slice and BH-Carbineer.
But even inPvP, it wasn't nearly as effective as a "very well made" Jawa Rifle, because of mitigation and mind-specific hits. If you were KD'd though, CrippleShot would tear through your buffs and armor. *nods*
I haven't heard of it or it's owner in several months, though. It's a shame.. I would have done anything to get my hands on such a beauty.

I got one to 895 2.0 speed...(with +33%PU) it was something like a +155 -1.6 speed tissue, and the high velocity feed mechanism or someting.. was one of those things you looted on lok. might have been a 33-35% damage slice..not positive on this.. was along time ago..like.. 3 months after launch.

The high velocity projectile feed mechanism is only for projectile wepons, ie striker pistols, FWG5s, tuskan rifles, and if they ever make Nyms slug throwers craftable, porbably those. I'm fairly caertain that if you use krayt tissues you can't use any other enhancers other than barrels, stocks, and scopes. I'm not a weapon smith though so I'm not sure.

I've seen 790's on Kett, that's about as good as the player crafted ones get.
I tried bidding on a Laser Carbine looted off the Corvette with a wicked Mind poison DOT. Still waiting to hear on it.
Average damage, but 2.5 speed and VERY low HAM.
