Damn, so much for buying Lotto tickets tonight.I use CripplingShot on a 1 second macro and have never stuck a bleed with it unless it was with an Enhanced E11.
Statistically, it should have happened at least once by now...

I noticed the same thing this weekend. I was killing Night Spiders in the cave and on the Queens and the big boy at the bottom got bleeds off the cripple shot. It was on a random pool. I wanted to know if this is happening more often to those with the BH Carbine tree and SEA’s?

I was thinking that higher accuracy might have something to do with it. I know when I was using the cripple shot before I changed my template I did on average of 1000 to 1800 per shot in damage. Now with the adjustments and SEA’s I get on average of 1600 to 2400 per shot with it. So it could be a mixture of higher accuracy and the speed cap or some other thing we have not considered.

Weapon stats can have an effect on the chances to bleed. This is a particular issue for rifleman and conceal shot. A bleed causes the target to aggro on you, even if the bleed is only -1.
Were you using a particularly powerful weapon?

Not sure but, I think once you start doing over a certain amount of damage (around 1500) bleeds become more and more likely. I notice bleeds sometimes with my carbine... however, my LLC always lands em.

If I am not mistaken, doesn't the WOUND % along with the WOUND D### of the targer determine if a bleed occurs?

yeah i noticed allmost all my specials cause bleeds at times, i think it should stay that way, since any wound from any attack could cause nasty bleeding....heh

I belive this was implimented exactly for this issue, to make conceal shotting high end mobs to death a lil more of a risky buisness.
