Got my first one tonight. Been a carbineer for like 2 years pretty much lol.
First one, crap, deleted. Second one 2.25 spd 352-706 dmg 176 elemental. I think that was the min anyways. Im impressed though. Hits pretty good against defenders and I got it in 15 min or less using my Jedi with FR3 through the compound, woot.

if you looted a nyms saying 360 min damage and 175 elemental damage, then the actual min damage would be 360+175 = 535 (correct me if i'm wrong)which is a v good min damage for a carbine.
plus it's also a kinetic weapon which is better for hunting a jedi who may be wearing a psg, npcs in recon armour or mobs who have high energy resists.

Just go back to the research facillity and pick up the 2 parts again. Then head back to Nym and drag and drop the items on him and you'll get a new carbine. Just repeat how many times you want.

You can get the Blackscale Hallsweeper off of Blackscale guards (the trandoshans) on the Avatar Platform. It's a random loot drop off these NPCs. There's another place to find Blackscale guards on Naboo somewhere I believe, but I don't remember where. I'm sure someone else will post it here.

Elemental damage is not mitigated by synthsteak or wafers either.
