Thread: These Combos Work.
My combo attacks for PVE and PVP are usually
Actionshot2+Wildshot1+ChargeShot1+Cripple+burstshot1
that usually suceeds in keeping the target at a safe distance and dealing out high damage
I am using pet and probot for pve combat.
I use probot to guard me and pet for tanking. I send pet first to attack enemy and while they all start attacking it i use action shot 2 and then spam full auto areas untill most of them are down. Then i can finish rest with scatter/cripple shots.
In case that area fires pull some mob to me probot will pull that away. if more of them agro to me then i either flee and come back when they stop following, or call pet to attack that one. usually pet can pull that one to melee too.
It is good idea to keep tatooine sunburst or other food/drugs around since they are cheap and prevent you killing yourself for ham bleed.
And it is good idea also let pet to fight some time before starting area fire.. that time can be used for looking best place so that cone of areas is hitting as many mobs as possible.
In pvp tactic only good solution i have found so far is hit PC with bleed and run away.
Carbineer Ham cost is so huge that i cant see how we can succesfull deal equal BH/commando etc.
Personally I mainly spam scatter shot 2 with sometime a charge shot in btw.
If I am facing humanoids creatures shooting back at me I then spam Full auto area 2.
I have found scattershot to be only a so-so attack. It's damage is misreported in the spam window, andI believe other attacks to be better. Is there a big fan of SCATTERSHOT that would like to come to its defense and tell me what I have been missing?

scattershot2 does big damage. the only problem is that the damage is usually spread out over 2 or maybe 3 of the target's HAM. this means that at times, you are 'wasting' damage by hiting other pools, when you'd simply want that red or green pool to drop. however, since other attacks like crippleshot doesn't necessarily target a pool either, over the course of a long battle, scattershot2 should be just about as effective.
go up against some big creature and use only one attack to bring it down. you'll find that on average, scattershot2 will do just about as well as crippleshot and somewhat better than burstshot1.
This combo actually works nicely if you have a TANK for PvE.. (assuming you have fullautoarea2/wildshot2/actionshot2)..
Send in Tank - let everything aggro - Shoot the furthest middle one... Open up with Fullautoarea - all of them become stunned- follow up with actionshot2 - make everything start bleeding and then spam wildshot2 (I've noticed that it's not as quite strong as fullautoarea2 but it takes less HAM's) wildshot2 does soemthing but I forget it's like ghost fiqure I dunno intimdate I belive.
Never use Legshot3 cause it's broken, haven't really tried chargeshot2 ( but then I've done it on 1 target and it failed to KD that 1 target).
For PvP....
Well you're out of luck if you're not combined with Bh carbine.... Chargeshot is the worst KD out of all professions (although it does work on big mobs while others don't) but for pvp it's useless.....
Only way you'll actually win a PvP is open up with a Chargeshot, followed immediately by a crippleshot hoping to do a lot of dmg while he's down(he's usually back up after the crippleshot) if you want to do a chargeshot again and crippleshot again (you're HAM's will be about 1/2 now with the specials you've done - so if he's not incapped you sure will be).
Only hope if that 1st chargeshot/cripple - if they have every little life in one of their bars... follow up with 2 scattershot2's - and usually he's incapped.
Very Hard I must say- really.
For PvP if you have BH3 carbine - open up with a Fire KD (if he isn't KD'ed just follow up with a chargeshot - it'll make him fall down with dizzy and he won't be able to get back up most of the time) and just shoot away, he won't be able to attack you at all (unless he has very high resists to Dizzy/KD and know's to push/type /stand).
My personal preferenceis for burshot2 over cripplingshot. the damage is very similar (crippling edges it just) but burshot2 is faster and has less HAM costs.
Scattershot? Umm...wow, I tried it a few times then went back to burshot2 as my main attack.
combos? for solo without pets it has to be:
actionshot1, actionshot2 (if the target is by itself) - the bleeds are useful, normally you'll also force your target to kneeling.
fullautosingle2 (for for nice effects); then either...
bursthot2 it to pieces, using warningshot and chargeshot1 (2 is broken) to keep it at bay.
legshot2 it to death to work with the bleeds.
Often I'll go the first route then switch to legshots if the action gets low or fullauto again if the health is low.
