umm.. I had a bearded jax.. I used him to kill piket longhorns or whatever they're called on dantooine since i've been a novice carbineer. He's a level 10 pet

This isn't going to change the game much. It will have 2 slight changes:


-with less beefy pets, solo and small groups will do mid-level missions instead of high-end missions.


-CH will become very uber and required. Every hunting group will want a master CH and a doctor. The doctor to buff the group and the CH to supply the tank. Everyone else will just be there to do damage.


It isn't going to effect PvP much...people will find a decent low level pet and use it. It's free, you are allowed to, so they will. In the end, the game will still be Pet Wars. You will still need a pet to tank. The only difference now is that only master CH will be able to provide the beefy tanks.


The only thing that will change the game from pet wars into something else is making mind healable. Combat medics are getting this...but they are forced to take mind damage (and I bet battle fatigue as well) when use their mind heal. In essence, they have a limited mind heal...they will not be able to heal like we are currently used to medics and doctors healing. Until the Devs add a true mind heal, that is, the ability to heal mind just like current medics can heal health and action, the game will stay as Pet Wars as players will be unable to tank.
