What to "hunt" with these rifles or are they "only for PvP"?

This gun was looted by a friend levelling FS xp in the geno caves. Mercenaries and Crazed Genos drop DXR-6's, just not many with those stats that I've seen. Mine will only be used for pvp, but it would definitely hurt a rancor also. ![]()

powerups are based on percentages of base damage so a 35% on a 715+ max damage gun will give 250+ max damage powerup.

The big benefit of dxr-6b's is the acid damage and the usually high range mods. There is a schematic that is obtained by running a quick mission at the genosian caves. After that a weaponsmith using genosian cubes (also looted from the genosian caves) can craft a set of these guns. They usually have mid-300's damage and about +80 range mods before slice and powerup. A good slice and powerup will put a standard, crafted dxr-6 in the high 500's, which is very nice for taking on rancors or headshotting spiderclan nightsisters or others that are vulnerable to acid, but resistant to energy damage of a T21.
