hell yes a 530 something max damage laser is good...and a 460 max e11 is too...dude, I've been stuck with only being able to get 459 at tops for my carbines....nobody wants to share their 100+ tissues with me

220 is the stocked base-damage for a DXR6. If you drop the stock, you lose about 40 max damage. 180. Substract 10 for the replacement of Krayt Tissue from standard Power Handlers, 170. Add your krayt tissue value.. 170+86 = 256.

SSeems your WS did use the tissues, but didn't use a stock, which really does bite, as it would have been about 296 with one. Remember to always subtract about 10 max damage from the base weapon for Tissue. IE, a Laser Carbine is usually around 320 max stocked, so you need 90 tissue (not 80!) to make it reach 400 unsliced.




Adding Tissues to a ABPH (Advanced Blaster Power Handler) does not ever take away any damage. The Tissue are an optional component of the PH, so you should not have to subtract 10 damage to calculate the final damage. If you have +30 tissues, the resulting weapon should have 30 more damage than the same gun, minus the tissues.

WS made me a 728 max p'uped LC yesterday. The not as good one p'ups to 680. Also ended up with a Scatter that p'ups to 520.


the lc's were made with 109 tissues and the Scatter with 156's.

When thinking about a PvP weapon you should look at the minimum damage as well to figure the whole mitigation process.

ok i'm just going to do the math, even against a melee person w/o any ranged mitigation here to show you that you aren't hitting for that much... 609 damage gun


with a crippling shot of 4X (is it 4 i can't remember) your DPS =48,72. however, i haven't played since september (i'm rejoining cuz of CU) but even if crippling is X 5 your max damage is only 60.9 a second to a random pool. nothing to sneeze at for certain, but certainly not 900 damage

I use a laser carb almost excluesivly (i have an ee3 dot), but all I hunt is jedi. Thye typically have no mitigation, psg or armor. So when I throw a sprayshot and get a dizzy to stick with a 900 damage shot, they stay dizzy for a while. When the firekd, underhand or action2 sticks, they flop. almost always, for quite some time.

When they flop, it is not at all uncommon (like last night) for this 679 max laser carb to hit for over 1300 damage against a KD jedi. THAT HURTS BADLY. they have to lay there spamming heals and hope they get up. They rarely do.
