First,I would like to offer special thanks to Yeraze for writing a script to tally to theapproximately 70 responses. It would have been too time consuming to do by hand and his help was greatly appreciated.

Next, I'll just post the results for everyone to see. I'll be passing these along to Thunderheart as soon as he gets back into town and the initial rush of being back calms.

It appears that the Carbineer comunity is confused on what we want. The results show that in a Group we want to primarily be Crowd Control, however, in the Offensive Capabilities results we want Pure Damage. I can see and understand both views.

Personaly I would prefer more Crowd Control. I think that if ChargeShot2 were an AoE KD as the in-game description states this would appease both Crowd Control and Damage seekers. Crowd Control easily appeased due to the KD and Damage is appeased by the fact that they can take more shots at single/multiple targets before being hit themselves.

Just my thoughts.

I disagree. It was not a pick 1 choice in each category survey. Each participant had 100 points to put into each category and so they put points in many options. So it is not a case were 1/3 wants A, 1/3 wants B and 1/3 wants C, butcase where the players see the class as an equal distribution between A, B and C.

so its saying for our specials, the consensus is that we want 55% of our specials to be single target and 45% to be area

Thank you Nova for clarifying. Based on the "weighted" point system then, sounds good.

Now when can you get it fixed .... (just kidding)

It certainly is an interesting result... interesting to find that I'm one of the minority that think we should have greater accuracy while moving, and more AoE specials than single target specials... very interesting indeed.

Have to admit I'm happy with the results They match exactly what I would've said, had I filled out the survey.

My only comment would be that I would like AoE attacks with multiple *specified* targets. Not just everything in a cone, as it gets nasty when you start accidentally hitting the lair. Although that would require a multiple-targeting HUD & UI, and then everything gets all hard & messy.. so I don't expect it anytime soon

I dont think it was confusion at all, the question was Crowd Control vs. Damage, it was a question of Offence vs. Defence.
