On 10/21/03 TH posted dev responses to each professions' Top 5 issues.

The idea is to get feedback from each correspondant and then work out a solution that could be posted on these boards.

So far no response to this from the Carbineer correspondant, and you guys might end up being out of the feedback loop.

BHs have some common issues with the Carbineers, and I'd like to work together with your correspondant at some point.

If you click on his name it shows that he logged into forums sunday but for about 7-9 days before that he was gone but considering this is the holidays he may just be gone for a bit. H hasn't posted for about 10 days.

we have no idea... I wish he would've posted SOMETHING, it would make the agony of keeping carbineer so much more easy

If they ever even did something about our issues, maybe he would have a better incentive to post =P

He's probably a little frustrated as so many of the other correspondents have been lately.

We have no clue, either, and most of us are a little concerned. SOJ has never been a post-spammer, so it's not the absence of posts in general that bothers me. It's the long period in which he didn't log in at all (usually he reads most of the stuff on this board), and the fact that he's silent at what I'd expect to be a time when he would be communicating with us about how the new process is going with the devs.

So, on behalf of the carbineer community, Tanks, is there any chance that you could read over his state of post and his previous stuff on the correspondant forum, and try to represent his issues on our (and his) behalf? I know it's asking to basically double your work, but seeing as you actually play the game, and use carbines, you're that much closer to knowing our problems than the devs are, and, short of TH recognizing SOJ's absence and reassigning one of us to be a new correspondant, you or the marksman correspondant are our best hope of avoiding being passed over on this crucial upcoming combat balance.

SOJ posted quite clearly the issues confronting the Carbineer Class.

And he did it some time ago.

If what he posted isn't clear enough for TH, then TH shouldn't be in his position.

SOE may be out of the feedback loop shortly if SOE doesn't address Carbineer issues.

Indeed our issues were posted a long time ago. However, the rules have changed a little bit. They have once again asked for feedback. I don't really blame SOJ. It is the holidays and so on. If we go another week with no SOJ, then I may become a lot more concerned.

On the other side of the coin.....Tanks. Thank you for being so proactive (grrrrr, I hate that corporate mngmt training word), but thank you all the same. You might actually make me come over to the BH boards and support some of the threads there. --shiver-- --wink---

Yeah he hasnt been here in a while. He said in an older post that he wouldnt be on as much during the holidays. Um I know this is are only form of comunication but would it be that hard for you to let us know what feedback is needed? We can put it together for you if you can get it posted for us.

SOJ might be absent, but everything TH needs is stickied to the top of this board. Since almost nothing has changed in our profession since Day 1 (besides the occasional nerf), its not like our issues have changed much either.

SOJ did give your issues to TH, that is not the problem.

The problem is that devs have responded to your issues (and every other developers').

The process is like this in a way.

You say the door is yellow and it is supposed to be green, the devs respond that the walls are green and there is no problem.

All the other professions say, I know the walls are green but we were talking about doors, and go on to explain what a door looks like.

The carbineer correspondant doesn't because he is MIA, and as a result the resolution of your top 5 issues can get delayed.

Now, I have mentioned this in the correspondant forum, and also have gotten PMs from a few of you, I'll PM TH and see if I can discuss the responses with one or two of you and post them on the Carbineer issues thread on the correspondant forum.
