Thread: quick question on chargeshot???
ok first of all this is only my opinion and i don't dig into the numbers and stats of my professions. I don't like being like other people, so i made the stupid decision to be carbineer/pikeman. whoo what was i smokin ![]()
anyway, it seemed to me that accuracy was a problem up untill the accuracy 2 or 3 box, then is was an anoyance untill i mastered. like i said it seemed to be this way. honestly the accuracy wouldn't be a problem if we shot faster, like the machine guns of swg, as i readelsewhere. but the sad fact is we were planned that way, the accuracy represents this, but our speed does not.
/rant Untill people stop calling nerf, nothing will actually be fixed. shut up, organize and present problems, then wait paitiently, coding and debugging is not a fast process. unfortunatly, less popular jobs like us get overlooked by devs who concentrate on the majority voiceses. those voices typically calling for "fixes" to things not broken, but not as god as they want, and "nerf" on the jobs that they have trouble defeating in pvp. /endrant
It also depends on what you are fighting. Some higher level creatures have VERY high resist to KD and Posture Change.
General rule of thumb, Carbineer sucks until you hit Master or have BH.

Well I have been Master for quite some time now and ChargeShot1 will miss 99.9% of the time on Mutant and Bull Rancors, along with most Nightsisters.
But you are right, almost every Chuba I ChargeShot1 goes FLOP ![]()
That's your problem right there... some nightsisters have very high resists to KD.

Publish 6 changed the% ChargeShot1 hit as well, a stealth nerf. I used to be able to hit Mutant Rancors every once in awhile, maybe 1 in 20. I spammed the darn thing well over 100, maybe even 200 times without a single KD.
I know the Posture to Prone was fixed for PvE, but changing the KD hit % is a double nerf.

I will try to bring this up. Can't promise anything...
Good info Matatodos, thanks.
As long as things are in balance, then the change is fine, let them focus on the Combat Revamp.
